Recap supports direct integration with Coinbase using the 'Sign in with Coinbase' feature. Once connected, Recap will automatically retrieve all of your transaction history and set up a real-time connection to your account.

Step 1 - Sign in to Coinbase

  1. In your browser, go to Coinbase and sign in as you normally would.

  2. Stay logged into Coinbase while you open the Recap app in a new browser tab.

Step 2 - Connect your Coinbase Account in Recap

  1. In Recap, from Accounts, click the Add Account button, then select Exchange API, then Coinbase.

  2. Give your account a name.

  3. Click the blue Sign in with Coinbase button

  4. A Coinbase window will open promoting you to allow Recap to access your account. Decide how many wallet accounts you want to select (normally all), then click Allow Access

  5. On the next window, click Back to Recap

  6. Your Coinbase account card will be created and your data will start to be fetched. Please allow some time for us to retrieve the data - if you have a very large account history, this could take up to 5 minutes.
