Important Note:
If you want automatic tracking, have complex transactions, or engage in activities beyond simple asset holding (HODLing), we recommend using our automated integrations for Bitcoin, Ethereum, or various EVM chains rather than a Ledger Live CSV account. These integrations update automatically, saving you time and effort compared to manually importing a CSV file.

How to add your Ledger Live account

Step 1: Download Your CSV File from Ledger Live

To integrate your Ledger Live transaction history into Recap, you’ll need to export a CSV file containing all your transactions. Follow these steps to download the file:

  1. Update Ledger Live

    • Ensure you’re using the latest version of Ledger Live.

  2. Open Ledger Live and Clear the Cache

    • Launch the Ledger Live app and click on the Settings gear icon.

    • Navigate to the Help section within Settings.

    • Select Clear Cache to sync your account data with the blockchain, ensuring your transaction history is up-to-date.

Your Ledger Live transaction history is now saved as a CSV file and ready for import into Recap.

Step 2: Create Your Ledger Live Account in Recap and Upload Your CSV

  1. Go to the Accounts screen and click the Add Account button.

  2. Select Wallet as the account type, then choose Ledger Live.

  3. Name your account and then click Next.

  4. Return to the Accounts screen, where you'll see a new, empty Ledger Live account card.

  5. Click the Settings cog on the Ledger Live card and select Import Ledger Live CSV.

  6. Click Browse to locate your CSV file, then click Import.

Congratulations! Your Ledger Live transactions are now successfully added to Recap.
