An Exchange Statement Account allows you to import your exchange transactions into Recap using CSV files or other supported formats downloaded from your exchange. Simply export a file containing your transactions and import it into your Recap account.

Keeping Your Data Up to Date

As you continue trading, you’ll need to periodically download and import new transaction files to ensure your data remains current.

Important:

  • Each new import replaces all previous data in the account. This prevents duplicate transactions and eliminates the need for manual filtering.

  • Some exchanges provide a full transaction history, while others limit exports to a specific time period or number of transactions.

Best Practice:

We recommend maintaining a "master" spreadsheet, updating it with new transactions before each import. This ensures you always have a complete and accurate record.
