Occasionally our Support Team may need to take a closer look at your data to diagnose an issue. Recap provides a secure way to share your data with our team.
Start sharing your data with Recap Support
1. Sign in to Recap and ensure that you have backed up your recovery phrase and verified your email.
2. Choose 'Settings' and then in the sub-menu click 'Support'.
3. Look for the option to 'Share data with support team' and then press the toggle.
4. Read the Terms of use and, if you are happy to proceed, tick the check box to confirm you accept.
5. Finally click the Share with support button. Your account is now successfully shared with Recap support.
How do I stop sharing my data?
You can stop sharing data at any time by pressing the toggle again.
How long does sharing last?
Sharing lasts for 90 days by default. You can disable or extend access at any time. We recommend you disable sharing as soon as our team has finished with your account.
Who can see my data?
Only authorised members of the Recap Team can see your data. We restrict access on a strictly need-to-know basis to ensure that data remains private and secure.
Is sharing secure?
Yes, very secure we can only see your data if you share it with us.
