Recap has automated support for Ethereum wallets. You can enter your wallet address and all Ethereum activity will be fetched into your Recap account - click here for our guide.
We are currently working on support for other chains. If you try to add a multichain wallet address, Recap will automatically pull through your Ethereum transactions but ignore all activity from other chains.
How to account for multi-chain wallet activity
As explained above, you can automatically connect to your Ethereum wallet but will need to manually add data for other chains using our CSV upload.
We recommend creating a custom account for each chain, then as we extend our wallet support you can delete the account for the newly supported chain without losing data for others.
For example
Joe is trading on Binance Smart Chain, Polygon and Ethereum using Metamask.
He syncs his Ethereum activity to Recap by creating a new wallet account and entering his Metamask wallet address.
Joe downloads his Metamask data for his BSC and Polygon transactions using a tool (like BscScan and PolygonScan)
Joe converts these export files into Recap's CSV format. He makes two .csv files - one for BSC and one for Polygon.
He then creates a custom account for each chain and uploads the relevant csv - his entire Metamask wallet is now accurately represented in Recap.
