Managing Your Team Members

How to invite colleagues, assign roles, and manage team member access in your accountant workspace.

The Members screen lets you invite colleagues to your accountant workspace, assign them a role, and manage their access to client portfolios.

The Members screen

Select Members from the left-hand menu to see everyone in your workspace. The list shows each member's name, email address, role, status, and the date they joined.

Inviting a team member

  1. Click Invite to team in the top right corner.

  2. Enter the email address of the person you'd like to invite. You can add multiple addresses at once.

  3. Select a role from the Role dropdown and click Send Invite.

  • Owner: full administrative access

  • Admin: full administrative access except billing

  • Member: can view and edit all client portfolios

​The invited person will appear in your Members list under an Invited section until they accept.

Revoking a pending invitation

If you need to cancel an invitation before it has been accepted:

  1. Click the ··· menu on the right-hand side of the invited member's row.

  2. Select Revoke invite... and confirm.

Changing a team member's role

  1. Click the ··· menu on the right-hand side of the member's row.

  2. Select Change role...

  3. Choose a new role from the dropdown and click Change role.

Suspending a team member

Suspending a team member removes their access to the workspace and all client portfolios. They can be reinstated at any time.

  1. Click the ··· menu on the right-hand side of the member's row.

  2. Select Suspend user... and confirm.

​To reinstate a suspended member, click the ··· menu on their row and select Unsuspend user.
