From the Activity Screen, you can view all the transactions you’ve imported into Recap.
You can easily search through them by applying filters for transaction type, date, account, asset, and transaction status. Filtering by transaction status is especially helpful for identifying transactions that may need your attention.
Clicking on an individual transaction will display more detailed information on the right side of the screen, allowing you to review specifics like costs, proceeds, and fees.
Details Tab
This tab provides detailed information about the selected transaction, including the date, token name, token amounts, fees, and changed balances, along with other useful details.
There is also an ‘Exclude from tax calculations’ toggle, which you can activate if you want to exclude a specific transaction from your tax calculations.
However, please note that even if this option is enabled, the transaction may still impact your asset balances within Recap.
Tax Tab
This tab provides details about any Disposals, Acquisitions, or other Chargeable Gains triggered by the selected transaction.
By clicking the down arrow, you can quickly access information such as Disposal Proceeds, Acquisition Costs, Match Types, Pool Changes, and other important tax-related details.
Prices Tab
This tab provides detailed information on how Recap has priced your transaction.
It includes Transaction Prices, Market Prices, and Calculated Prices. You can also see which pricing provider was used and the total valuation for each token.
If Recap was unable to value a token, or if you wish to assign a custom value, you can click the Edit button and manually enter your own price in GBP.
The Recap Ledger
The ledger tab displays the impact of the selected transaction on your Recap ledger. Amounts in brackets indicate subtractions, while those without brackets indicate additions.
Source Data
This section displays the raw data from the exchange that has been processed by Recap, providing full transparency and auditability. If there are any transaction issues, reviewing this data can help identify potential discrepancies.
