From the Activity Screen you can view every transaction you have imported into Recap.

You can easily search through them by filtering by transaction type, date, account, asset and transaction status. You can also filter by transaction status making it easy to view any transactions that may need your attention.

By clicking on an individual transaction you can view much more detailed information on the right side of the screen.

Details

This tab provides details about the selected transaction including date, token name, token amounts, fees, changed balances as well as other useful information.

There is also an ‘Exclude from tax calculations’ toggle - activate this if you need a particular transaction to not be included in your tax calculations.

However please be aware that if enabled, this transaction can still affect your asset balances within Recap.

Tax

This tab provides details about any Disposals, Acquisitions or other Chargeable Gains triggered by the selected transaction.

Use the down arrow to quickly reveal information such as Disposal Proceeds, Acquisition Costs, Match Types, Pool Changes and much more tax related information.

Prices

This tab gives detailed information on how exactly Recap has priced your transaction.

This includes Transaction Prices, Market Prices and Calculated Prices. You can also see which pricing provider was used for this transaction and the total valuation for each token.

Where Recap has been unable to value a token - or if you wish to assign a custom value yourself - you can click the Edit button and enter your own price in GBP.

The Recap Ledger

The ledger tab displays the impact of the selected transaction on your Recap ledger. Amounts in brackets indicate subtractions, while those without brackets indicate additions.

Source Data

This is the raw data from the exchange that has been processed by Recap. This ensures full transparency and auditability. In case of transaction issues, reviewing this data can help identify any discrepancies.
