Adding a manual transaction in Recap can be a useful way to fill gaps in your data or add specific transactions that have not been captured automatically.
Follow these steps to add a transaction:
Navigate to the Activity screen from the menu on the left side of the app
Click the + Add Transaction button in the top-right corner.
Select the Transaction Type that matches the transaction you need to add.
Then, pick the Account where this transaction will be saved.
Fill in the required details on the next screen.
The fields displayed will depend on the transaction type you selected.
Once done, click Next, and your transaction will be saved.
Confirm your transaction was added by finding it in the Activity screen.
You can use the Manually Entered filter from the All Statuses dropdown to locate it quickly.
And that’s it! You’ve successfully added a manual transaction to Recap.
